I decided to resign at the job I currently have and typed a letter of resignation yesterday.
I don’t have a copy machine at home so had to go to the nearest FedEx that was still open…in downtown.
Long story short, my Jeep was towed away. Not a problem, I made a mistake and I’ll just have to be…
Update: my uncle took me to the impound and I got my Jeep back. I was helping him with a project in the morning and he needed to go to the paint store so I went with him. Next to the store a restaurant had a now hiring sign so I told my uncle I was going to apply.
While I’m filling out my application form the owner sees me and starts to interview me. He seemed amused about my situation (I didn’t say anything about my Jeep getting towed).
Then with a grin he asked me if I’d like to work right there and then for a couple of hours. I said that would be great.
The restaurant is more relaxed and runs smoothly. I’ve personally been given a job as a waiter by the owner. I just need to move in with my uncle and his family(he’s pretty happy) and resign at my current job.
Now I can rid my bike to work, be closer to family, and the dogs will have my cousins’ dogs to play with.
I don’t think God wants had things to happen to us, sometimes it’s things that surround us, much of it is our own responsibility but I know for a fact that when things do go wrong He can turn it around and work something out of it if I do my part.
